Social Awareness Training for your Organisation!
Heartlinks Here4U education program offers organisations the opportunity to inform their members about community inclusion and gender equality with the view to reducing family violence. It is designed for community groups, sporting clubs and other organisations and businesses with public facing members, staff and volunteers.
Training is delivered by our qualified and professional staff with extensive experience in bystander intervention and social cohesion.
Training delivery is tailored to your team’s experience and knowledge in this area and to the organisation’s workplace goals.
Some learning outcomes you can expect include:
- empowering participants to take action when they are confronted with violence in the community
- knowledge and confidence to support victims when they are identified
- support men's behaviour and attitude change
- challenge social norms that support violence against women
Training can range from a two hour information session, to up to six sessions depending on the requirements of the organisation.
Training can be delivered at your workplace, at our centres at Sandringham or Frankston, or at an external venue.
Please call us to discuss your training needs.
