Bev is a highly experienced Social Worker, group workshop facilitator and trainer, having worked in education, with parents and children, and in Men’s Behaviour Change Program facilitation.
Bev has a passion for children living in safety, to enable them to reach their potential and believes this can be accomplished by providing support to both parents to provide a trauma free, secure family environment.
Bev's expertise includes training in trauma-informed practice and strengths-based group facilitation that addresses how everyone can play a part in creating a violence free society. Programs delivered include Active Bystander Intervention, Positive Parenting for children across the ages, Looking after You for all ages, Parenting Anxious and Sensitive Children, Identifying and Responding to Domestic Abuse (with a focus on GPs and Allied Health), Engaging Fathers, Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace, Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM).
